I live and work on a small island off the coast of Maine. As a lifelong journalist and editor, I've written about technology, healthcare, forest resources, the working waterfront and politics for dozens of newspapers, magazines and websites. In 2003 I co-founded a digital media company where I launched several award-winning B2B newspapers and a variety of websites, and served as the company's CEO between 2008 and 2014.
These days, I'm a part-time reporter for my hometown weekly and a regular contributor to Northern Woodlands magazine. If you'd like to learn more about my work, see my portfolio, services and experience at the Storyjack.me. Information about how I built this site are available on the Colophon page.
